Meet the Owners

Katie was born and raised in Hallettsville and just recently in 2019 made Hallettsville her forever home with her Husband, Nathan. Katie has 3 children Eli, Luke, and Adaline and expecting another child in September. When she is not at work, you can find her spending time with her family and friends, at the ball field, gym or on a horse.

Katie has been practicing as a speech language pathologist since 2018. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master’s of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Our Lady Of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX.

Her experiences include working with pediatrics in the home health, school, and outpatient settings, as well as servicing adults in skilled nursing facilities, mobile dysphagia MBSS van, and acute settings.

Katie specializes in both pediatrics and adults including, speech and language disorders, infant bottle feeding, lactation consulting, myofunctional therapy, swallowing (dysphagia), pragmatic disorders, child hood apraxia of speech, articulation disorders/speech sound disorders, picky feeding, voice disorders, fluency (stuttering) disorders, dysarthria, and aphasia.

She is certified in AmpCare (NMES), Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing (FEES), and is a licensed Lactation Counselor to provide supports to the nursing mother and treat pediatric and the adult population of speech and swallowing disorders. Katie has as vast knowledge of bottle feeding and transitioning babies from NG/feeding tubes to bottle feeding as well as oral motor deficits in infants and children.

Lauren Pasak is a graduate of Moulton High School. She now resides with her husband, Chad, and 2 children, Peyton and Bear, in Hallettsville, TX. Lauren and her family enjoy outside activities, like sports and exercising, and going to adventurous places.

She received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and her Master’s of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston in Houston, TX.

Lauren has been practicing speech-language pathology since 2011 and has worked in a variety of treatment settings. Skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHS), rehab hospitals, and home health are all areas of Lauren’s expertise.

She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), VitalStim (NMES), Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing (FEES), and Myofascial release (MFR) to treat the adult population of speech and swallowing disorders. Lauren has vast knowledge of dysphagia, or swallowing disorders, tracheostomy/ventilator patients, and neurological disorders in adults.
